Woke up on the beautiful Fraser Island, agian! Got up at half 6 to sunshine and had breakfast, packed away our tents, a few of us properly washed up all the stuff which took a while and all wrote in Murray's little book. he really was a great guide! I had a little rest in the car while everyone was finished packing away etc which was soo comfy! We left the camp and drove to Lake Wabby which is the deepest lake on the island, at 12 metres in depth. It was a 40 min walk through the forest (which is when I spoke to the English girl) which was pretty hard work as the sand is so soft!! There were a few other travelling groups there, saw the guy from West Meon! We all laid on the beach and relaxed, went for a swim in the lake and yep, again, just so relaxing and chilled out! And, the sun was out again! We were so so lucky with that because there has been a lot of rain recently. We then had to 40 min walk back to the beach, where I got changed and think I left my bikini bottoms in the toilets!! Sooo annoying! Need to stop loosing stuff! We chilled out on the beach and got some group photos then got back on the 4x4's and headed back to the boat :-( Left Fraser and got back to Rainbow Beach where we had to clear the 4x4's and hand back our stuff, spoke to the guy with Murray about the tent and he was really nice and said he would charge us $50 instead of $80 which was $25 each. Everyone said I shouldn't have to pay as it wasn't my food in the tent, which was true and if it was my food I would have paid it all for sure... but, I didn't want to cause a fuss so just left it and found Cecilia and told her we needed to pay $50 for the tent. Once we cleared the tents we went back to the hostel, dropped most people of but one person from each 4x4 drove it to the petrol station to fill up and me and Cecilia got some money out. Well, i did, her card had stopped working... I wont go into it all but it was a big palava and I ended up paying for the whole tent myself. She gave me $20 American dollars in the end as she found them in her bag later on, but then went to the shop and got loads of stuff... so Claire had words and she came back later with the $25 Oz dollars for me. I didn't ask what went on so said thanks and left it at that! Got checked into our rooms, me, Cecilia, Claire, Charlotte, Team Canada, Superman and Partick were all in together which was cool :-D We all got showered which was sooo nice!!! I was lucky enough to be first in :-D Washed all our clothes and sorted out our bags and chilled out, whilst finishing off the left over Goon! We then met up with the rest of the group and all had food in the bar which was so nice to all be together :-) Bumped into Ross from Sydney too which was cool! A few people stayed in the bar, some went back to one room for drinking games and the girls were chilled in our room. I flicked between places and I couldn't decide where I wanted to be! There was a band playing in the bar so we did a bit of dancing there, when I got the girls out of the room! When the bar closed a few of us went down to the beach where we played some drinking games and chilled out, was really nice and there were some very, very funny moments. My favourite was when Patrick, who is trying to improve his English, asked completely seriously if Superman was an Ostrich! Was so funny and so sweet, its because he is from Sutria, Partick had been trying to work it out. Claire fell asleep on the beach and when she woke up... well let's say she wasn't at her best so we walked back. Think it was about half 2. The internet room was open 24 hours so me, Sam, Dan and Patrick ended up sat in there chatting for ages. Before I fell asleep I checked my phone at it was 5.55am... my alarm was set for 6.30! So yep, a little sleep, but was a great night.
