Up and checked out of our room by 8.10am this morning (50 minutes before deadline! Get us!) and had a leisurely breakfast, whilst being scared about Australian spiders by a fellow traveller, Brandon.

Our plan was to walk along Marine Drive to Chowpatty Beach and after about 45 minutes going up and down the wrong streets, we finally found Marine Drive. Enroute Sarah had an unpleasant experience of a man kissing her arm, which we both retaliated against and showed our disgust at his lack of respect for Western women! - Girl Power!

The hour long work was hot, with little shade it became quite unbearable! - You could imagine 35 degrees, no breeze, having to wear long trousers! After a refreshing cold drink of mango juice, by the beach, we decided it best to get a taxi back - well worth the 50 Rupees!

After a few hours cool down and rest at the hotel, we headed back out to Marine Drive, taking the much quicker direct route, to watch another stunning sunset along with the hundreds of locals and tourists lining the circular promenade.

We headed back through a street market stopping off at Subway for a Sub of the Day! Just what the doctor ordered! Whilst making our way back to the hotel, we got collared for yet another photo opp, but this time it was a pleasure as the young girl gave us a rose in thanks.

Back at the hotel we spent the rest of the time getting organised for our overnight train to Goa later this evening.
