Pictured: sitting down to lunch on hotel terrace over looking Mediterranean. Spectacular! Our walk was exceptional this morning -- varied terrain and gorgeous views. We passed through ancient fishing villages, pine forest on cliffs over looking sea, tunnels cut into the rock for the footpath. The hotel is perfect and sits perched on a cliff just above the walking path.
Had a few wrong turns but overall hike was through pine forests with intermittent beautiful blue ocean views. Met a few other hikers and a pack of bicyclists on the trail. There was also a large group of high school tourists in our hotel traveling by large bus that seemed to be having a great time! Lots of beautiful coves and great snorkeling places.
Jane:
There were lots of small tunnels to walk through, and it was like a Scavenger hunt trying to find the trail markers. The ocean is beautiful. We're going to the beach later, which we have a view of from where we're eating lunch. It looks like there is a photo filter on life right now to make it look better.
Kat: we took a really scenic hike with lots of ocean views. The water is light Aqua in color.
Lunch was delicious, started with cheese board and shaved ham and bread with tomato. Cheese was phenomenal. All of us ordered grilled fish.
