I had a bath this morning. Oh my god. Have not had one since I left home. It was amazing. When I got out Claire had woken up. We went and returned our quad and booked a cruise to the volcano, hot springs and oia for sunset and went and had gyros for lunch. It was so unbearably hot all I wanted to do was go to the beach but we couldn't. So we shopped for a while which made things better.

Then we went back to our room. Claire had a little nap and I warred with the wifi for another wasted hour of my life!

We got ready and went to the supermarket (we have an new addiction for grain waves equivalent sour cream and black pepper flavour. So good!). I went to give me friend her present but she wasn't there so I left it at the reception table with a letter. Fingers crossed she gets it.

We walked down the stairs to old port trying to find the donkeys cos some girls told me to do it apparently it was really fun and a little scary

As soon as we got to the spot where all the old men who do the donkeys trips are they were screaming at each other so loud it was hilarious but scary. The guy we paid seemed to be the one everyone was screaming at and doing the most screaming himself!

We finally walked down to where they were after nearly dying from all the donkeys coming up! We got on and I instantly wished I had a helmet. I thought they were smaller for some reason. Even Claire was scared. Poor Claire, her donkey was slipping on every step he took which petrified me and her!! She screamed and yelled the whole way down. My stupid donkey was so in love with hers that he would constantly come up next to hers and completely cut her off on a corner or ram her into the wall haha. It wasn't a pleasant experience. When I thought it was nearly over I realised we were only half way. By the end we both jumped off and we had about 4 minutes to get to our boat. Everyone kept pointing us in the wrong direction and we were running around I circles until I stopped the sign and we ran and jumped onto the boat. Last to get on of course.

We got to the volcano and even from the boat I knew I didn't want to go on the island haha let along spend 2hours there!! It was way too hot! Claire didnt want to either so after trying to work out what to do we decided to get back on the boat because people who had been on the island were getting on it. We jumped on and it took us to the hot springs and we realised that it would take us back to fira next. So we found one of the guys (purposefully avoiding the evil lady who kept screaming at everyone) and told him we were on the wrong boat with very sad faces. He said that maybe he captain would drop us back and when the captain came over he said don't worry don't worry go in the water do not worry! We weren't that worried anyway haha but we went for a swim in the 'hot'(Luke warm) springs and when we got back he said that the captain would take us back to the volcano after he dropped everyone back at fira hahha. So when everyone got off we stayed on an then the guy came and gave us beers and told us to go to up and help steer the boat. So we did and the captain let us drink with him, eat his food and even let us drive the boat to the volcano haha.

When we got there our boat was waiting for us and we jumped on and went around another island and then to oia. So beautiful by boat I'm so glad we did it. We made friends with some Australian guys on the boat and when we docked back at fira 2 hours later we realised we had no money to get the cable car back up and they shouted us. It was pretty scary as well. We made plans to meet them at a bar later which of course we were late to. After a few drinks at a few different bars they were getting a bit keen and so we said we were going to the toilet and ran away and went home haha. So mature.
