Claire and I both slept until 10.30 which was bliss. We went and had yummy gyros and got a quad which turned out to be nothing more than a nanna mobile. The brakes barely worked, it went about 20km/h and it didn't tell us the speed. It went from 0 to 169 km/h and every number inbetween in about 2 seconds. Needless to say we were overtaken constantly and held a lot of people up haha.
We drove to red beach and again I laughed at the man calling out 'white beach, black beach', it's just too funny and I'm too immature not to laugh! Scrubbed my legs and arms as they were attempting to peel and read more of 'the great gatsby'- all I can picture is Leo and I think he is perrrrrfect for the part. Cannot wait for the movie.
Then we drove to Perissa beach and went to a cool beach bar. The seats with umbrella ( palm leave thing) were only €7 for the whole set! And there were buttons on the shade to call waiters over. There was a disgusting fat old man in speedos (ewwwwww) hitting a tennis ball to two girls and they were right behind us and nearly hit us a few times which was annoying. We had a few stare offs.
We drove home and went back to the bike place to get one that worked but we basically ended up with one that was pretty much the same. The guy that was helping us was hitting on me so badly it was hilarious.
We drove to oia and found the restaurant i booked last time I was here with relative ease seeing as I couldn't remember where it was it what it was called. We got bread with olive paste and cocktails. I had a piña colada and it was amazing. Oia still blows me away it is so beautiful. We ordered a lamb gyros portion and meatballs to share and more cocktails. Our bill came to €80! Ouch. But worth it as we had the absolute best view of the sunset.
When we were driving home we had these two guys on a motorbike taking over us then going really slow until we would have to take over them haha they were obviously about 15!
Got home and crashed but still talked until 2am like we were on school camp!
