We woke up and packed our bags and left them downstairs in the hostel while we left for a couple hours. We had heard about a market in East Paris that was really cheap so we decided to head over there. I ended up finding a new wallet for 3 euro, a black peacoat for 8 euro, and a purse with a zipper for 12 euro! Pretty legit place to shop. We went back to our hostel area and got the box pasta again since it was so delicious before. Ashton and I checked out some of the shops we had been eyeing before and I found a Paris shotglass and a fedora so I can match Chad and Ashton now! We then packed up and rode the metro for the last time all the way up to the east station and had to wait a bit before our train arrived. Chad and I went and got some pastries and Ashton got some ice cream. Nom nom. The actual train ride went by pretty quickly and there were a bunch of older folks having some sort of reunion cause they all got off at one point and were hugging and taking pictures (that will be me), it was really cute and highly entertaining. Once we arrived in Munich, we didn't get lost at all for once! We called up Matthias and he showed us to his place. He seems really cool and has been very hospitable so far. We have mattresses and are sleeping in the "community media room" so we basically have a huge room all to ourselves; pretty much the best set up we've had yet. He told us about an area with a lot of bars so we got back on the subway and rode to that stop and immediately saw a McDonald's. We hadn't had dinner so obviously had to stop for some American fast food and it was actually the best McDonald's I've had yet in Europe! Afterwards, we were tired and cold so we decided to go back and go to bed so we could be well rested for tomorrow.
