Greetings!
Well, here we go again. Another round of CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES. But this time instead of touring, it's a wonderful sit-down production at Beef & Boards Dinner Theater in Indianapolis, IN -- beefandboards.com
We only opened yesterday and already the run has been extended and shows have been added to the pre-exsisting schedule. And word on the street is next summer B & B will be doing CBL 2 which is already on sale AND has had to extended into an 8-week run (shows here normally run about 6 weeks). Go CBL!!
I'm loving it here already. I'm living in a massive 3-bedroom, 2-bath farmhouse all by myself (though I love my next door neighbor, Licia, who's our new Mrs. Snustad). Every single person here is so nice and so supportive. And we have a really wonderful production which we're performing to sold-out houses. Plus a free gym membership...and I'm going to start working with a trainer on Monday. I have high hopes for a great summer!!
The trip here was pretty awesome, too. Made stops along the way to see my god-daughter, Love, and the her wonderful family. And while I didn't make it up to Cortland Rep (still so sad about that...sorry guys!) I did go to Allenberry Playhouse to see friends Anne & Kelly in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS. And made a trip to Mt. Washington Valley in NH with Eleni to see our friend Joe in THE MUSIC MAN. After spending 4th of July with my family in Concord, Cody flew in and drove with me out to Indianapolis...via Cedar Point!!! For those of you who aren't familiar, Cedar Point is an amusement park with incredible roller coasters. We had the best time...and only got mildly sick :)
So like I said, we opened yesterday and now we're up and running. Eddie (our producer / Pastor) threw us a pool party at his house...we didn't want to leave...it was such an awesome way to kick things off!! I'm hoping not only to explore Indianapolis this summer, but to make day trips to other nearby cities for baseball games, auditions, museums....stay tuned for the summer's adventures!!
