We stopped at Monterey and Carmel-by-the-sea on the first night which was actually thanksgiving so we managed to get a thanksgiving meal at a restaurant on the pier. Hey again! Well we've just left San Francisco after 4 nights (plus an overnight stay at Sacramento). We arrived late afternoon on Sunday after going to an American Football game in Oakland (Oakland Raiders vs Cincinnati Bengals) on the way. Hey! Well the last few days has been spent visiting two of the most amazing national parks. We entered into Death Valley National Park not long after leaving Las Vegas. Its the largest national park with the highest and lowest points in North America. It is desert and has an average temperature in the summer of 40 degrees!! Hey everyone! Well I'm here safe and sound following the usual airport events of overweight baggage, motion sickness and being switched flights! I have to recommend United airlines-they put us on an earlier flight meaning we got to LAX 6 hours earlier than planned!
