Milano, Italiano. What a crazy city this is. I have had two amazing hosts by now and they are very friendly and make amazing food. I am also trying to pick up some Italian from them for use on my months here in Italy. I covered most of the main attractions thus far and am gonna try to see "the last Supper" tomorrow. I have been having a blast with my last host Giovanni and his flat mate Francesco. We played fifa and drank some beers then watched football, just hanging out with the guys very much like at home…loved it.
Yesterday, I changed hosts to Angelo who is 55 and said that you dad looked like you where from Woodstock, ahaha. He is really cool and makes his own alcohol from blackberries, its really good. I also had some free time to walk the city yesterday and not knowing what to do I walked to the duomo/city centre and there is this big stage setup and I guess its fashion week in Milan. So, I ended up with nothing better to do, but watch a fashion show last night. It was kinda cool, a happy accident, I fit right in with my flip flops, zipper pants, and VAA t-shirt surrounded by Gucci, vercachi, and whatever else fancy Italian brand clad people, they all looked like super models… that's why I was able to blend in so well. It was funny though, the super model types… a little to skinny, like you see their bones… no thanks… I need a women with some meat on them bones. I am glad I stumbled upon that it was funny and different.
I will be off to Torino next starting the 30-7th then to Genoa.
Happy Birthday to the lovely C-Bell "grandma" hope all is well and miss you. I will have loads of pictures and stories for ya when I get back. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Chiao, grazi, salute,
Kevin

Mom Who knew you were such a fashionista? And so fashion forward to show up in "VAA Blue"! You always have set the trends! They were doing the (CITY) LOVES FASHION shows in other parts of the world as well. It was a very big deal. And to think you just happened upon this! C-Bell was happy to hear from you and sends her love. She misses you, too. I love you. Stay safe. Mom
jeanne Kevin...a fashion show? I never would have looked for you there! What are the new fashions like? or did you just eye the models? We had a nice brunch at Tinucci's for your gramma's 86th birthday..you were thought of! Stay safe and keep the pics coming! Love, Jeanne
Sharon O G Hello, I am still finding this adventure fascinating. Now I am beginning to know your family also. After all, any family that takes Grandma for her birthday lunch to Tinnucci's is my kind of people. Keep well and lucky with the people you meet.
