Kerry again, just a quick note about Phuket... ...We were here for approximately 12 hours from 5 in evening to 5 in the morning so didn't get to see much of it, but of what we did see, it was pretty commercial and seedy. Hi everyone...Emily here. So, Phi Phi, which i can safely say was my favourite place so far!!! It was gorgeous! There are no roads in Phi Phi it is so small that everything is in walking distance, so when we arrived off our ferry we headed off with another couple, who were staying in the same place, in the boiling hot sunshine with our heavy bags on our backs! We eventually found the place after about 15 minutes of walking, slightly disappointed to say the least...

Hi its Kerry again, so we finally made it to Krabi on the Sunday morning. Had lovely bus ride over, where we had no idea where we were and kept getting transferred to different vehicles along the way where we would tell them the name of our accommodation and they nod and say fine fine with blank faces! It was all fine though as usual. Stayed on Ao Nang beach, recommended by our resort in Phangan, in a little bungalow off the beach by a big hill thing, lovely-ish...

Kerry here again...so next stop was Surat Thani, not by choice though. Our ferry was late from Koh Phangan which means we missed our transfer bus at Surat Thani to Krabi. Great! So we stayed for approx. 12 hours, fine by me. Only good thing was our room for the night cost about 2pound each (just a shame we were already paying for our room in Krabi). Didnt get off to a great start!! Arrived to our fan bungalow-disgusting!! So with much objection (not), we dug deep into our pockets and got upgraded to a deluxe air-con room. The next morning we started early, met our diving instructor, Glen, and spent the morning back at school, in the classroom watching videos!!! After lunch it was time to learn to dive in the pool!!
