Hi its Kerry again, so we finally made it to Krabi on the Sunday morning. Had lovely bus ride over, where we had no idea where we were and kept getting transferred to different vehicles along the way where we would tell them the name of our accommodation and they nod and say fine fine with blank faces! It was all fine though as usual.

Stayed on Ao Nang beach, recommended by our resort in Phangan, in a little bungalow off the beach by a big hill thing, lovely-ish. Wouldn't say the beach was particularly recommendable but Krabi itself was nice. The beachfront was quite touristy with nice little shops and cafes, also lots of bars (we quickly found the reggae pub as standard). Spent the afternoon sitting on the beach and doing a bit of window shopping. Had to get up early the next day for our boat to Phi Phi so thought we'd go for a quiet drink after dinner and clothes purchasing. Ended up meeting a couple of english policemen who kept us out 'til four in the morning though, disgraceful.

So yet again a boat to catch first thing, after no where near enough sleep, but Phi Phi here we come!!!
