Finally a rainy day...the whole trip we had sunshine and good company! Can't complain about the weather at all or the fellow travelers:)

re: Surfing in Lehinch.......Cindy Thanks so much for sharing your pics and sights seen!! I am going to Ireland in 2015 with two DeWitt girlfriends. It is a guided tour done by our high school classmate, John Smith, who happens to be a musician and poet with some following. He is 100% Irish and his music reflects that. His tours center around site seeing during the day, B&B and castle accomodations, and pub music at night. As soon as Nick is out of college, I am traveling finally, if the Lord wills me. John is on the island as you are traveling with one of his five annual tours. Enjoy!!! Cindy
re: Thatched CottageK Thanks girl! When we were there (mom, sister & me) we decided that in our next life we wanted to come back as the cows who get to spend their days grazing on the Cliffs on Moher!
re: Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher and Mc Gann's PubBunny Bennick Tea with the nuns or Pub hopping, humm, such decisions.
re: Cork, IrelandVeronica Galway is one of my favorite places! Did you get to Kenny's Book Store? Liz, did you say hello to Des Kenny for me? Surprised that Kate is amazed at the music in Ireland... it's so great there, and a great export. That's why John has it centered in his life. The large drum the man played is a bodhran (sorta pronounced bo'raan). What you call a jam session is just called sessian in Ireland. Now you will have to visit Milwaukee's Irish Fest. Great fun moving through your sites and pictures
re: Downtown GalwayJackie Hi there. Kate what great pictures. Sounds like you are having fun. Waiting for your next entry.
re: Castle, Abbey, and moreKathy Katie - I am loving the photos! I never realized Ireland was so picturesque. The photos you posted are better than the Figi ones! I just might print and frame some of these!
re: It's all in the name...DingleJackie G keep it coming . . sounds interesting and fun!
