Finally a rainy day...the whole trip we had sunshine and good company! Can't complain about the weather at all or the fellow travelers:)
Today we had a high tea at Dromoland Castle, the former residence of the O'Brien family, a rich Irish clan. It is now a hotel, golf course resort. The food was fabulous, photos to follow.... At the resort they offer falconry classes, who wouldn't want to learn how to handle a falcon!
Then we went shopping in Ennis, then out to dinner with Willy Daly, the last matchmaker. He told us stories, played the flute, and sang songs. Very fun, many stories about old men marrying younger women. He owns 46 Connemara Horses and if you are in the area, he offers trail rides!
Our last full day, :(
