Sunshine on our shoulders Sunday
We are still in Lehinch, today we caught the ferry to Innis Soirre, one of the Aran Islands. We toured the island on a horse drawn cart, then had "toasties" for lunch at a pub, those are toasted sandwiches filled with whatever you pick ( usually ham and cheese).
Then we caught the ferry and went to the Cliffs of Moher, one if those most photographed natural wonders in the world. Then we stopped in Doolin, did some shopping...found Kathleen's request!!!
Went to McGann's pub, where we met Willie Daly, a famous Irish matchmaker. A third generation matchmakers. We touched this pile of papers he was carrying which was his matchmaking book. If you are single and touch the book, you will be married within 3 months. If you are married and touch the book, your marriage will go back to the first 3 days of your honeymoon and last 3 weeks.
At McGanns we listened to music, by Blackie O'Connell, Geraldine McGowan, and another unnamed person. Had my first Irish stew, delicious.

K Thanks girl! When we were there (mom, sister & me) we decided that in our next life we wanted to come back as the cows who get to spend their days grazing on the Cliffs on Moher!
Margaret I love this photo. How cool is that.
