Another overnight bus ride and I was back in Puerto Montt by 6:30am. Although I did manage to get some sleep I certainly wasn't able to stretch out much and woke up this morning very soar and to go with that; freezing cold. I had 2.5 hours to wait that turned into 3.5 hours at the station before being picked up by my wonderful host Karina - so I did my best to stay warm and pass the time as quickly as possible. When Karina arrived I was over the moon and so thankful to be in her warm car. She had planned to drive North today and go with her friends surfing; but after no sleep and a long week I decided not to join her and take the day to relax. I caught up on emails, tried to figure out a travel plan and went for a nice big walk around Pelluco as the sun was out. At 8pm I had to go pick up another Couchsurfer who was also staying at Karina's which meant a walk and a bus trip into the city. Arriving into the city I found Barbara but she had just called Karina and so Karina was going to come collect us. An hour later Karina came and we were once again thankful as it was starting to get cold and it was around 10:30pm so we were both very tired. Karina had a great day at the beach and I must say I was a little jealous but was glad I took a rest day. After a cup of tea and a long chat we all called it a night and headed to bed around midnight.
