Today is my Aunty Sue's Birthday...
We got a call in the morning having seen to the horses from Mike (the hay supplier) he wanted us to pick up the rest of the hay on the field as it was due to rain that night. We went down to pick the hay up. We got 30 on the back of the pick up, I was on the back of the pickup stacking them and my Uncle was throwing hay up to me. Then we got back and stacked it in the hay shed. Then we went and got a second load. It was getting muggy/sticky so when we got back we decided to have a break before off-loading, Holly was in the field with Lynn (a local horse trainer, farrier and breeder e.t.c.) this was the first time i had met Lynn and effeminate was not a word you would use to describe her, but she was a real horse woman. Having spoken with them for a while, Holly had made the decision to breed her 17 year old mare, which is sway backed and can't walk to well with Lynn's stallion King, all of which was a bad idea due to the mare's condition, but still it was to commence.
Me and my Aunty (both with bad backs) got the hay unloaded and stacked in the hay shed whilst my Uncle talked to Lynn some more, about getting Bonnie some training. After that we left the broom for my uncle to sweep out the pickup bed, whilst we had a cold beer on the patio. We then got showered and changed and went into downtown Quesnel to buy an ice-cream cake from Dairy Queen. We then went to Boston Pizza and order some pizza's to collect in 20 minutes, in the mean time we went to the new Staples that had been opened, we went to look for a memory card for my camera which I had forgot, it was $60 which was still reasonable, but we were going to check prices at other stores before buying. We then went to pick up the pizza, went home and ate it with a big slice of ice cream cake. And as I had been loaded up on drugs again I fell asleep around 10pm then went to bed.
