We got up early this morning (7am) to got to Prince George which is about a hour drive north of Quesnel. We were going to Prince George to watch a dressage competition (English Style) that Joan and Marrietta had invited us to. Judy Joans sister was riding in the competition. We watch a few horses do their tests and then it was Judy's turn to go. She did pretty good, but had a few bad bits. She scored 56% which was OK. It then began to rain heavy, so we took refuge in Joan's trailer, which is massive and made completely of aluminium. We got Mindy (Judy's Horse) tacked up and ready to go. We stood in side watching the other riders while Judy walmed up. We got speaking to Marietta and an English couple that had been in Canada for over 40 years. Then I t was time for Judy'd test, this test went a lot better, but right at the end Joan, who was reading the test out lost her place, but luckily some on in the stand was following and shouted it out for her. Joan had offered to take us to Costco, a huge store with all discount products like Aldi and Lidle in England, but with way more stuff. I bought a mouse (Logitech MX Revolution) which in England is about £60 which instead it cost me about £35, so bargain! Joan bought us lunch, I had chicken strips, chips and gravy. We went back to the AgriPlex and watched a few more tests, then went home. On the way back we saw a Dodge Viper and a Corevette on the highway which was quite cool considering it's not even as busy as a main road in England, never mind a Bypass or Motorway. When we got back we sorted the horses out and relaxed an bit as we were both tired from a long day, and had Chilli for supper, which was really good except there was too much. Then as I was falling asleep I went off to bed.
Guess what though… I took photo's!!
