After an overnight train ride lasting 13 hours and barely getting to sleep due to witnessing the loudest snoarer i've ever heard. Seriously it was so loud he kept waking himself up every few seconds.
Anyway in Xi'an (called Chian) we decided to visit the city wall which is one of the only ones still remaining. We decided to walk just one quarter of it, but as i've said before the Chinese never do anything by halves and it took us agesto walk around.
Later that evening, we tried several Chinese delicasies including some lovely tasting pancake things we meat inside, and some not so lovely duck throat and intestines in a chili sauce, as recommended by our tour leader, Chan Chan.
The following day we took a bus ride out to the Terracota Warriors and after initially getting dumped in the wrong place we eventually got there.
The army was preserved in the same place as where they were excavated and there was so many of them, all stood in battle formations it looked quite fierce. Well it might of done if half of them hadn't lost their head when the roof collapsed. We also got to meet the farmer who discovered them when digging a well, just we didn't realise it at the time.
Thats about it for Xi'an so next we get on another overnight train to Shanghai, only 15 hours journey this time... can't wait hopefully no snoaring this time.
