The love locks are a curious phenomenon in Paris. We saw the whole bridge of padlocks - the romantic ones left their love statement on the bridge. We found that interesting, I went home digg online. I found out the City doesn't like the way people not preserve the look and feel of Paris, so one night back in 2000, they disappeared on the bridge. The locks we saw on Pont des Arts bridge was the second or even third time people shown their relationship loves. A strong love statement. Here is the link to read more: news

Afterward we went to Louvre, and accidentally three dancers passed through, did a performance. Check out the video, I think this is similar to how Moulin Rouge started.

Keep walking, along the Seine. We accidentially went into the christmas shopping street fair along the Champ Elysees toward the Arch.

It was such a fun day, very romantic and we both had a wonderful time. John tried the grilled chestnut for the first time and disliked it. I brought home little gifts for my cousin.
At night time, I cooked the giant mushroom that I brought in the morning, reminded me of the childhood memories of mushroom picking with my grandma in HK.
