Did some research about macaron, took line 1 and got lost. Luckily there is a french stop his motorcycle, helped me to get back to Champs Elysées. Found Ladurée, the french dessert restaurant that invented macaron. Seated in, took forever to find the waitress to order the set breakfast (28 euro)- 4 mini bakery items, orange juice, coffee, fruit salad. (i thought I would have room to order the mini dessert, but I ended up packed two items to go). It was yummy but feel like normal breakfast items. I wasn't impressed because the rude customer services the pretty top model waitresses gave to me. As you know, macaron in lolita culture is pretty big, and I have been macaron's top fans. But this set my mood down quite a bit for the whole morning.
After breakfast, I headed to Galeries Lafayette, took line 1 transfer to 7, get off at Galeries Lafayette. Galeries Lafayette feels like a big Macy, really big, 7 floors and full of mixed brands globally. It had a beautiful rounded roof with colorful glasses. Very classic european style. I sat down with a normal 3 euro coffee, the french old lady started talking to me in french. I used my super broken french tell her I can't speak french. But she kept talking, when I heard the word English in french, I told her yes, Anglais! Unfortunately she said she can't speak English. She tried to teach me french, but I can't understand and pull out the piece of paper to say I don't understand in french.
She is so nice, keep trying, until I completely lost. She said au revoir and I said the same to her, it means goodbye. She put a smile on my face and set my day sunny again.
Afterward I went downstairs to buy a pair of leather boots in red, super happy that I can pay with my credit card in US currency~!
Night time, I ate downstairs at Flagstaff again, ordered normal pasta with meat saurce, the waitress is super nice and I tipped her 3 euro. (By her nice english customer service.)
