Well that's me been in my new house for a couple of weeks now. We had our first party on Saturday night. Well if you could call it a party, hmmm! Maybe not! We decided since it was a Saturday nght to check out a few pubs and the Palace nightclub in Coogee (not Hamilton Palace) where we stay. This was a godsend, I tell you after working all day in Subway,I needed a good night, a wee dance and a drink or too. Was a really good night. We first started at this pub called cushion, this is well nice. Very classy decor with small cube chairs, expensive though, then to the Palace for us. Has three different levels all different music. Is right by the beach and has a rooftop balcony overlooking the beach. Was having a good night until Lucy one of our mate's housemate's Peter took a fancy for me and just would not take the hint was a total cling on. Really got on my nerves but he was def not my type a lot smaller in height than me and I know I'm not no Cindy Crawford myself but come on, I a'int that desperate, sorry mate. I got fed up with him so left with Aimee to go back to flat to escape . It was pretty late on about 3 am. We were later joined by the rest of the girls and some guys and there you have our first party. Well sort of we never had a drop of alcohol between us, some backpackers we are. It was hilarious but we still managed to party away for a couple of hours. One of the guys and Claire were hilarious they were using the ironing board as DJ decks, was a good laugh.
Didn't make it into Subway the next day for work, decided to phone in sick. Its really hard work all day no break on your feet making sandwiches with the beautiful sun outside this a'int what I'm here for. Think my days at Subway are finished. Need to say though if anyone eats there is well clean the hygiene is fantastic and yeah ilona and Roz the meatball subs are ACE! I know I have to work, but the pay there is so poor and I just can't work seven days a week, is no good. I really wish I could get a better job, the card shop ok and brill money by the hour but just not giving me enough hours and keep giving me wee rubbish four hour shifts spread out all week, no good! Am going to keep looking.Went for an interview in a club the other day but not sure I have got it. Will find out tomorrow but even that's not ideal not near house and is open till 6 am in the morning. I'll keel over.
Spent Sunday chillling out on the beach, the weather getting warmer. I'm a little brown now. You can tell its warmer our house last night was full of cockroaches we found five.YUCK! They always get me to catch them. They don't really bother me but spiders well that's a different story.
Well must go, keep in touch is great hear9ing from you all . XXXX
