Hey

So much has happened in last few days. Things seem to be happening really fast. I'm still staying with Campbell and Kelly but have been a busy bee lookin for flats, jobs, sorting out bank account, tax number, medicare card, etc. YAWN! Its been a really boring slog there's so much boring stuff you need to sort out. However that has been helped by the fact that I've met a fab crowd. They are ace and they asked me to join them and get a flat with them. 5 girls from Edinburgh. I tell you , you can't get away from Scottish people. I met them at a welcome meeting that they paid 100 bucks for in the UK and I heard about it so went along and managed to wangle my way in, not bad! We've spent the day looking at flats, god they were awful. One was worse than a squat, basically an empty shell that should be knocked down and  a man has put beds in it. 10 people 4 rooms, one bathroom. Absolutely living hell, I don't think.

 I've also got myself a wee waitress job in Balmaine where Kelly and Campbell stay is a bit away from the city centre is their mate Jenny's sister in laws restaurant. Don't know if I will like but have said I will give it a go. Doing a bar course tomorrow to get a licence so I can work with alcohol need it for cafes, bars etc. I've also been offered a social work job which is brill pay but not sure if I want to do it is 1 hour travelling at  least by train, child protection work, stressfull I think and not sure if its what I want. Plus its not the place you will meet backpackers is an option though and still considering it. Depends if I like waitress job or if I manage to get a bar job in  town.

We are all stressed just now trying to find somewhere to live. Its not easy. The girls I've met are all 20 - 23 but its not made any differece they are fab. Start my job sat in restaurant so will let you know how it goes. I also have an aussie mobile you can text is +61410361966 and will probs have a landline soon.

Have decided am staying in Sydney till Jan kinda getting to like the city is so much to do and apparently the easiest place to get a job.
