Howdy

I tell you I don't feel as if I am on holiday/travelling. Feel as if I have been searching for jobs and flats for ages and YAWN! Is far from exciting. At times I wish I was at work and not doing this. RAAR! But all has paid off we have got a flat, now the fun starts. It looks as if we will have a good time. Its right near the beach. there's six of us all Scottish. I may aswell be at home. This is my first house ever except my family home sharing wiith all Scottish and in Australia, BIZARRE! (HMMM! maybe not!) Can't wait to party at the beach at Xmas is a gorgeous one. Not making you jealous or anything!

My waitress job was not meant to be. It was horrible not for me. The boss was not friendly, it was in a bowling club, not very exciting and I had to carry three heavy plates not for me. Wasn't very good at it. HMMM! I lasted two hours.Anyone who knows me can imagine me with the plates, def not a Joanne job.  Didn't get sacked just told it wasn't busy and she'd call me next week. Still waiting for call, HMMM! Have made up my mind though def not for me.

As I have been sitting here I have been offered a job in a card shop a bit like Burns the Stationers in Larkhall. I start On Thursday is full of old women though will take until I get something else or can maybe get a bar job the evenings.Going to see a restaurant on the harbour tmw who are looking for people. Someone I met at a BBQ their daughter works there so there is a chance of a job there and it is good pay with tips. Sounds better, going tomorrow fingers crossed.

Once all this is sorted I can go out and enjoy Sydney. We were out on Sat night. Again at the Irish Bar, there was a Greenday tribute band on. They were pretty good. the backpacker lifestyle is very much like your first year at Uni, is weird I feel as if I am repeating again but having lots of fun doing it.
