Saturday…the day of sport and games but today, the stupid snow meant everything was cancelled. So we really didn’t know what we were supposed to be doing cos no one told us anything! Amy and I ended up having to help James Alvis, the head of sport, doing a stocktake of all the sports tracksuits. Soooooo sooo boring! The rest of the morning was ridiculously boring and I was a bit homesick but good news is that I got a card from Mum today with a few photos from my wall at home so that was really nice :) I love getting mail!
Saturday afternoon was a lot better and I had lots of fun! Sophie and her friend Bek came over at around 6pm to visit me and Amy and we had soooo much fun with them! Bek went to Thomas Mills (the local state school) and I swear, she is the English version of me!!! The video she made for the end of her school is sooooo funny (youtube Thomas Mills)!! I showed them my card tricks (trust hahaa), which was hilarious, and we just generally had a good time. At 10ish, Amy, Nick and I were invited over to Stradbroke House (one of the boys' boarding houses) to meet the guys there. It was a really fun evening and we didn’t get back til 1.30am! It was really nice to meet some kids though and now I don’t feel quite so awkward walking through the school during the day! But to all of you hopeful girls, I must admit that English guys really aren't as good looking as they are in the movies! Sorry to ruin your dreams!
