Started the morning with a rock climb on the beach then headed off to the open day at the Koala hospital.
Most of the koalas are victims of bushfire, dog attack, ticks or disease and are looked after until their release. Usually they will release a bunch of them together in the hope of them starting a new colony.
Had a look at the Morris Minor display which is in town for the weekend. Over 150 different cars- they are so cute, especially the utes!
After lunch we headed off to the airport to have a go in the 'Vertical Wind Tunnel' which is classed as an extreme sport and the only outdoor wind tunnel in Australia.
It is used to train skydivers how to do tricks etc- like the one on the coca cola advertisement.
The wind gust was around 220-240km but can be increased or decreased depending on your individual weight. Had a few aches afterwards (its a great workout) and definitely the highlight of Port Macquarrie!
Camping next to the beach again tonight.
Highlight today: Vertical Wind Tunnel!
