The truck still has wheels so we survived the night, but we had a terrible sleep due to the busy road we had parked near!!
Up at 7am for breakfast then over to the local oval for some cardio and boxing.
Today we are starting our new health and fitness routine. Our lifestyle has not been conducive to weight loss, this became evident when neither of us fit into our jeans!
After our workout and a freshen up we headed to Timbertown (recreation of a pioneer timber milling town from the 1800's).
Here we were able to see a bullock team in action which was quite interesting (bullocks have two stomachs).
We also had a lesson on whip cracking, neither overly successful and plenty of red marks on Mels arm lol.
Rode a miniature train, horse and cart, watched steam powered wood mill (always wanted to know how they got square wood from round logs!) and genuinely had a really good time!
Then we headed to Port Macquarrie where we are parked right in front of the beach for the night (and have steak for dinner) Love my life!!
Highlight today: Timbertown!
