A long hard day sailing over 55 miles to L'Aberwach. The wind was on the nose all day and most of the crew felt unwell at times. Today Mike, Marianne and Ian left and Alison, Jim and Neil joined. The tidal conditions made it not sensible to go anywhere so it was boat cleaning and laundry time. Left Guernsey at 8am for Lezardrieux with gentle rain falling. Had fast passage of 55 miles arriving at 16:30. the marina is up a beautiful river with fast flowing tides of 4 knots. This meant we had to wait 2 hours to get into the marina. Have been caught out at this marina in the past but got in right this time. Moules and frites for dinner, unlike the stink pot owners who had sausage, mash and beans!
