We have now moved to French time we did not count Cherbourg as only stayed a few hours. Set off with Ian and Marianne determined to spend the day in summer clothes. Ian wore his shirts and sandals. No sooner had we left and it started raining. It has been raining off and on all day! It has rained every day so far, it is beginning to feel like last year. There are spring tides running today and we took full advantage to record Speeds of over 10 knots at times. We stopped at the Sept Illes for lunch. These are small islands off the coast which are a nature reserve and beautiful when sunny. Tonight we are in Trebeurden which is a pretty seaside resort well protected by masses of rocky outcrops. Tomorrow is first crew change day.
