Today is a nice day to write about my job and the Pandekagehus Cafehans. The day was lovely, after a thunderstorm the night before had cleared all potentially bad weather activities from the sky above me. And the sun shone. Customers arrived for lunch and I was serving the coffee, and Hans was making the goods since Ive only just begun my lessons in the art of pancake flipping and other fine things.
Everyone was content in the little court yard where the sun shone. Birds sang, bees buzzed and flags flapped in the cool breeze. Out the back, goats bleated and rabbits hopped. And someone slept on the deck chair in the sun.
The afternoon passed and it was decided that a new recipe for the menu would be tested, so in went onions and tomatoes to be fried, then the pancake was made, and finished off with mozzarella and pesto. Garnished with spring onions and you have the lastest item on the menu, 'Janelle'. Delicious in a new kind of way, it goes on the menu from tomorrow morning. Then I tasted two sorbets to finish, melon and lemon, which both tasted exactly like their natural form, a melon and a lemon. Ta-da.
