Welcome to Spain. The tain down the Spanish side of the Pyranees was 80% worse than in France, but arriving in Barcelona the weather was so warm and sunny compared to France. After some effort to find a hostel to stay at the exploring began.
The city is much bigger than toulouse so we decided to buy a hop-on hop-off bus ticket, which took us around the west side of the city and up the hill for mighty fine views all over. We hopped off outside the Maritime Museum, hoping for a great time learning about the Spanish Armade, fishing and all other sea things but were sorely disapointed to walk in and find a big empty room with an old long boat sitting in the middle of it. There was some small information about fishing and migrating on ships but absolutely nothing like we were hoping for. I suppose they havent finished it yet.
We did some walking around the city, down the touristy bits and went to some churches but only to swee the outside since they all charge money to get in. The rest of the time was spent relaxing in our homely hostel or eating a lovely meal in a lovely restaurant.
