Welcome to Spain. The tain down the Spanish side of the Pyranees was 80% worse than in France, but arriving in Barcelona the weather was so warm and sunny compared to France. After a break in Bordeaux we jumped on the train once more and headed along the river valley. This region is called the Dordogne Region and is apparently populated with more Brits than French. Its lovely even on a dismal day. We're headed in the direction of Toulouse but our nearest city-town is Rodez, and its still a fair distance from there. Arriving at our new host I was comfortingly reminded and reassuerd that we were carrying out our plan to visit Southern France for the winter. A little holiday inside our holiday to bordeaux. We stayed in a lovely hotel for the weekend and the weather was perfectly sunny and hot. Most of our time was spent relaxing in our pokey room,eating and a bit of wanering around streets, markets churches and eating.
