And so our journey up the coast began....with a 14hr bus from Sydney to Byron bay.

A relatively eventful journey including a breakdown, 3hr wait at 2am for a replacement coach and a full on fight breaking out between two passengers....brilliant!

Arrived to Byron bay at around 10am and carried all our stuff to the hostel only to find out there was a free minibus from the bus stop!

Really nice hostel, we had our own room and it was a really hippy chilled kinda place, the weather was gorgeous so we headed to the beach and sunbathed and swam in the sea, lots of big waves and fish!

Hardly any sleep on the coach last night so we all pretty much fell asleep after dinner!

Free pancakes for brekkie in the morning before heading to Surfers paradise.sweeeet!
