We stopped this morning at American Campers Sales and Service in Bradley WV. They were able to fix the refrigerator and we filled the propane. When we left the house we had about 6 inches of snow on our roof. The sun was out and the temperature was rising so the snow is melting. We were spraying all the cars that pass us and the was a lot of water coming down if we stop in an unleveled spot.
A lot of water on our roof, but none in our tanks. Our RV is winterized and we needed to find a place to dewinterize it. So far every Flying J on the way had the outside water turned off. We were all longing for a shower and were all going to be pretty stinky if we did not find water .
We wanted to make it to Jacksonville for dinner to try to meet up with family and watch the Giants. After stopping early yesterday and the time we spend at the shop, the is no way we were going to make it. Kati helped me check and we found a Loves that the water was not off. We drove to it, got water in our tanks and filled up with gas.
We drove back 5 miles to a Walmart. The whole perimeter of the parking lot was linned with RVs. We got the last good spot. We were all glad to be able to finally shower. We are safely tucked away for the night near Savannah.
