Well our ability to bump into people from home is never ending.. although this time not so much home but just people we know....

Booked into the Ocean View Caravan Park in Onslow ... setting up camp and I catch a woman in the corner of my eye that looks familiar.. she has the same look... no sooner had I said to Mark we know that woman and she's related to the Phillip's I'm sure... over comes Janine Phillips!... seems confidentiality clauses don't exist in caravan parks as she had just run off to the office to ask if there was any chance the people camped next door were Heath's lol

Well nothing really super exciting to report about Onslow... time to wind down and set the boys off to some fishing.. a couple of days of not an awful lot, followed by our last day producing a few whiting and a couple of good sized yellow fin bream... not to mention the high number of bream returned just under size!...

Travel note for people touring the north west... We were advised in Panawonnica by the petrol station attendant that we should shop there rather than Onslow as it's a subsidised town.. PAY ATTENTION TO THE PETROL STATION LADY!!!!... not only was Onslow very expensive (one supermarket town) the range of products was extremely limited, nothing fresh all frozen etc... this will probably have to change a bit in the future if they intend to accomodate an increase in the population of approx 5000 with the new gas plant opening up!

We scored a little win with the travelling butcher coming to town on Thursday which enabled us to stock up on a heap of vacuum sealed meat :)
