Another day another caravan park oooooooooo but it's a Big 4 lol..

We were going to bush camp it tonight but decided that a hot shower and power to recharge the batteries was too hard to resist with another couple of days of bush camping ahead of us..

We spent the afternoon touring the sites wow it's windy here!!!... did the required hike to the end of One Mile jetty, I do believe in truth we walked 4 miles.. because for every step we took forward the wind blew us back one it was bitterly cold so we were thankful for the warning given to us as we approached the jetty as well as the unexpected purchase of jackets at our last Ray's Outdoor trip before we left home!.. Hard thing was that it was the wind that was cold so we all worked up a sweat under our jackets...

Great little museum at the start of the jetty too that had the kids intrigued (Jamie would have loved it, it was mostly dedicated to shearing!)

Night out on the town was difficult to come by, most of the town was shut on a Tuesday night it appeared but as always the Big 4 man came through and rang a new place in town that was well worth the trip.. Bardi Grub Cafe for anyone in Carnarvon in the future.. only new (going by the chandelier in the middle of the room and the other decor newly converted from the local chinese resturant lol)... waitress was new and obviously had no experience but the food was lovely and they had a tv that the kids were allowed to watch (they haven't seen one for 6 weeks so you can imagine how excited they were).. insert giggle.. inexperienced waitress firstly asks me "do you know how to work a til I have no idea what I've done... then asks me to help her work out my change lol... insert arrival of chef / owner and bill sorted quickly) Would recommend it though food was lovely and the service will improve with time..

Well it's off to bed now (oh and Mark wants the laptop) we are off to Eurardy tomorrow we hope so I'm thinking my next blog entry will be from home!!!...
