I keep buying this cake its so yummy and cheap! It's only 7.99rand which is the equivalent of around 79p and its a huuge piece xD
But yess, tody has been pretty univentful..two new volunteers arrived and i had to show one of the around Durbanville but that is about it so I shall talk about yesterday instead cus it was a goood day xD

To start with, after our 12 o'clock meeting I was talking to the other PT volunteers when two of the other volunteers, one french and the other german asked us if we wanted to go to tygervalley shopping centre, which is within driving distance of the home. So we all shove into the small, run down rental beetle that oneof the other volunteers left us. We end up getting lost and ask for directions and it turned out we were going the right way so we have to turn and go back up the hill...which ends up in disaster! We have to stop just before the top at a red light and when we tried to start the car again, it wouldn't go and ended up rolling backwards and almost hit the car behind us it was rather funny, It took nearly 5 minutes to get going again and we even had to all lean forward before it would go xD We eventually get to Tygervalley and go shopping but then another disaster struck when we tried to go home. The car was completely dead and even when we tried to start it nothing happened...no clicking sound or anything it was completely dead...everyone pushed it half way across the carpark to try start it but nothing..a guy tried to jump start it, still nothing, so we had to phone the childrens home and get someone to pick us up and leave the poor beetle in the carpark and get the place we rented it from to take it away.

I then made some new friends [i think] when i sat in the annex and sat playing cards with the project trust people and one of the german volunteers, and then I sat up until 1am-ish watching the bourne ultimatum with three of the project trut volunteers, one of the germans and the french guy. It was rather funny because whenever german was spoken in the film, the german guy translated it to english for us xD
So yesterday was a good day and i'm starting to settle in slightly more so feeling better :)
