So today I write to you with news of a nifty little item I have received.

After reading a few threads online about riding JOGLE solo, I suddenly had a feeling of dread... As I'm doing this solo, what would happen if I were knocked unconscious or could not communicate to anyone in the event of an incident? That's when the people at www.roadid.com came to my rescue. About 5 minutes on their website and about £15 later I had ordered the RoadID Ankle ID.

This funky little anklet acts like a medic alert bracelet so that in the event of you not being able to communicate with the emergency services / people that find you they have your emergency contact details and also any special medical requirements!

Now I have to make the point of saying there are other companies on the market but seriously... why bother with anyone else. The customer service was great and when I received the Ankle ID (approx. 3 working days later) the quality was great! :)

The Ankle ID is basically a neoprene band with a soft Velcro closure system. On the front it has a laser engraved tag with all the information you want on there (you enter this when ordering) and the clarity is great. One other nice feature is that it has a reflective stripe all the way round and you can trim it to size :)

As a true believer in this product I'll be proudly sporting mine when I ride my JOGLE.
