I woke up this morning to find 8 emails on my iPhone to say I have bid, and won computers, cameras, and mobile phones on Ebay..? My account was hacked. (GREAT!). Woke up Aaron, and we hopped on the computers in the hostel trying to sort it all out, changing all my passwords for my accounts etc etc... Managed to get hold of Ebay in the states using my Skype account and it was all sorted. Well I hope so. Nothing has been debited form my account. Its just a pain in the neck. Could have done with out that.
Today was the day I had really been looking forward to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE! We made out way down to the harbour front on the MRT, and then across to Sentosa Island on the express monorail. We were there in about 10 minutes. Its looks impressive, the area is quiet small where the USS is located but it has everything there. It is a real mix of the Orlando and Hollywood Universal Studios. We started with a 60 minute que for the Transformers ride. Which in fact was only about 40 minutes. It was really good. For anyone that has done Orlando, its like the spider man ride. We did the battle star galactic roller coasters that are red and blue. Then the mummy returns ride. USS has its only Far Far Away land from the Shrek movie the 4D show was the same. Then my favorite show - Water world stunt show. It was just as good as I remember it back in the Hollywood. We walked back around the Far Far Away land to "Donkey Live" Its like the monster inc show that we saw in the states.. Dreading that I was going to be picked out, thank god I didn't. The next zone was from the movies Madagascar! I had some photos with the characters! (Alex the Lion, and the penguins! The ride "The Creat Escape" was a bit rubbish, a real kids water ride. Wasnt going to rush around and have another go on that! ha ha. We watched some dances in the New York City area, before going back on the Transformers ride one last time before we leave. We did the single riders, and managed to get on the same car! We had dinner and a bucket of beer in chilli's.
Returned onto the Sentosa Express down to the beach front stop, and went on the Luge. We got 3 rides, each time having to go up on the ski style lift. I managed to find a helmet that just about fit, we had our induction training that lasted about 1 minute. All we had to know how to stop, start, and turn! I have to be honest. Aaron beat me every time. As on the first run, I went up on 2 wheels, and it scared me a little bit, so I wanted to take it easy, and not fall out. It was so funny. By now it was dark, and the only thing lighting up the track was spot lights all different colours along the track! It was really good. While I was on the Luge, I managed to loose the present that I had got mum, it was only a pen from universal studios but I knew her kids at preschool would like it. Anyway... I lost it. (Sorry!) Must have fell out at my impressive speeds. (Trying to catch Aaron up without tipping the cart! We got the MRT back to Clarke quay. We were going to have a drink at the stock exchange but it was packed, we couldn't get a chair or anything.. So we just headed back getting back on the MRT to Chinatown, Then the short walk back to the WINK.
