Saturday lunch time in Cusco
Spoke to my lovely daughter this morning so good to catch up with all her news, although you are all very good and keep me posted. Thanks for your comments its really great to hear from you all. Yes Gem Gem did get it thanks.
Not much happening here these days have got into a regular system just like being at home with out the comforts.
Had a really busy day yesterday, safehouse in the morning with the girls. Cant help feeling that they have been saved in one way and trapped in another world. Think there is about 15 girls there but we never see them all. Amazingly they have a room with sewing machines in, room with the old knitting machines. You may have seen them my mum had one. They have teachers to show them how to use, its all about learning to make things to survive again when they get outside as I think they only stay until they are about 18. there are 2 babies there one has cerably palsay (not right spelling) he is going of to San Jaun clinic soon, also a pregnant 13 year old, dont no the story there.
After Spanish lesson, went helped Jess paint her new apartment !! then actually went out on the town in evening. Got in at 2am, good bar, lots of Salsa dancing here just wish I could do it
Take a tip from me all you young people, learn everything you can while you can, dancing , languages etc. It will coe in handy at some point.
There was 8 of us out, as 2 of the girls leave this weekend, so we bought bottle of absolute & large coke for 80 sols between 4 so it cost 4.00 each in sterling. I would say thats a fare price unlike the ripping of in UK. Great night they no how to party here.
Well with out starting to get boring I am going to sign off, will do another blog about Tuesday, I will have left home then 3 weeks ago, how time flys. Need to look into trip to Sacred valley also see when machu might open. xx
