The camels and camel guides arrive and I suddenly realise how big and bad natured the camels are.
We climb on and somehow keep our balance as the camels get up. Once we get going I realise how comfortable these beasts are! If it wasn't for tillys camel constantly s***ting I would be a very happy boy.
The desert Is amazing. It looks barren then you crest a dune and a little village is hidden in a dip.
They way these people live and sustain the environment is truly amazing. Nothing is wasted and the food is very tasty.
We spent a night out in the open on the back of a camel cart, with the stars as our night light. As there is no light pollution in the area the sky is so vivid, breathtaking.
A once in a lifetime experience.
