There is not really anything else I'm going to be spending my money on here in Osaka, good food and good drink. That's what Osaka has in spades. I toyed with the aquarium, but I've spent quite the bit of money in Japan as it is, I'm also not sure I'm sufficiently interested to pay £20. Bob and I head out for lunch, back to Namba for some more yakatori! We got it off one of the stalls in the street where we got to see the guy making it. It was pretty cool to see it all being made, fresh. Tasted good as well. Feeling a tad hung over from last night. I'm just going to take it easy.

I leave after lunch and head back to the hostel. Maybe I should go to Beijing tomorrow? I have a look at what there is available, I think about staying another day in Osaka. Why? What would I do? Just sit in the hostel? I take the plunge and book. Had to wait about an hour before I got the confirmation email. Job done, hostel booked and worked out how to get to the airport in the morning. Perfect. All that's left to do is get back down town and have some more marvellous food! No expense was spared tonight, we wandered the back streets looking for a little local place. Found one, not a word of English spoken, but oddly an English menu. It was one of those situations where we got spoken to in Japanese, we responded with simple English, more Japanese and then we all laugh. It was funny! In between the laughter we were ordering up dish after dish, shrimp with special mayonnaise, sushi, squid tempura, salad and the piest du resistance, fried onion salt of the internal organs of cattle! Ohhhhh yes! I had some of that. It was quite expensive, compared with everything else! The waitress was looking eagerly as I tried, maybe expecting me to spit it out. I didn't, tasted like the bits you cut off your steak. I'm pretty sure it was intestines. Some of the pieces were curled, like a tube. Ha. I ate it all anyway, why not? A few more beers and back to sleep. I have to be up and out of the hostel by 8.30 tomorrow, and I haven't even packed!
