So it begins.
They let me through security (even with my fruit pastilles) so that's a plus. Sitting in a departure lounge waiting for my gate to be announced. Perfect send off from the family, with sausage sandwiches and hp sauce on the way down and then a few photos and tears before the off! No less than I expected, thanks guys.

I hope they have some good food on the flight, I'm starting to feel pretty hungry. I am resisting the urge to withdraw yo-yo cause I will no doubt spend it on some overpriced crap, so I will not be leaving this seat until my gate is announced.
