So the fun wasn't over yesterday, as in the middle of the night I am woken to the noise of someone trying to get in to my room. The door handle rattling, what is going on? Luckily the door was locked. I go back to sleep, but am woken again later by the same noise of a potential intruder.

We survive the night and get up early in the morning, but I forgot to change the time on my mobile and we end up getting up an hour earlier than we needed to. Great. The sooner we get out of here the better. We have breakfast, which was terrible, some toast and an egg. No butter, just jam and chocolate spread, I have dry toast and of course the coffee/tea combo. It is while we are eating breakfast that we can see one of the servants out the back with a machete, hacking away at a bone, I think to myself it was perhaps another traveller that didn't lock their door last night. My God! We get a taxi ordered and we get out of there. I thank Dickna, I make a mental note that I have to leave a review about this place to warn other travellers about the disaster that is here.

Another hour and a half of crazy driving and we are back at the airport. We go to the domestic terminal and have a look a the flights to Yogyakarta, I'm just about to pay when I see that I don't have enough money, so I go to an ATM, it is at this point that Miao has told me that she has changed her mind, again. She doesn't want to go to the mountains but instead wants to go to the islands. At this stage I have done no real research on what I want to see in Indonesia and so I am really happy to do whatever. We have to get a shuttle bus to another terminal as there are no flights from here to any of the islands that we are interested in. Having looked at all the flights that are on offer, Bali is the most affordable, though we have to book it online as the price in the office is just plain ridiculous. Flight booked and we have a day of fun at the airport to look forward to. Luckily we are at the new terminal which is much nicer than where we were yesterday, so there are shops and places to eat, and a lovely Starbucks for me to spend my money in. On of the shops at duty free has a bag that I am interested in. Much lighter than my current bag and I think one that would be much better suited to my travels. After checking the price online I am satisfied that it is similar here and so I buy it. It is not the rucksack that I wanted, but a replacement day bag, as my trusty North Face one, just wasn't cutting it. Not that it owed me anything, i'm sure I have had it for at least 10 years. Time for the upgrade. I don't know why we left it until the last minute to get some food, but we did. I didn't even have time to eat all mine before we had to head to our gate and board the plane. Why does this always happen like this when you have so much time, you always wait until the last minute.

We arrive in Bali and in to an airport that looks like it was made in the 80s. I start to think of the international airport back at home and how it gives the worst impression of Northern Ireland when you first arrive, I'm feeling the same here. I would have thought that the airport here would have been much bigger sue to the amount of human traffic that this place gets. As we head outside though, I can see that they are building a brand new airport. We bundle out of the airport and in to a taxi, it is only about 15mins to our hotel and we are greeted with some free juice upon arrival, very nice. We head straight to bed, I'm tired after doing nothing all day, why?
