Cows milked 2x a day so mozzarella making goes on all day to keep the cheese freshest. Fiaminella lemons - best due to the 3s- sun, soil, sea Terraced growing is necessary due to limited land: orange lemon peach trees on the flat land, then olives around the edges, then vineyards under the olive trees. Olives - October nov nets under trees nob December cut limbs and then pick olives from cut branches - pick and press same day Winds blow olives - women and children pick off ground Currently we are having scirocco weather (hot then windy then rainy) The people we were sitting with at lunch were on a cruise thru International cuisine travel out of Chicago - all outings were hands on cooking. At our lunch we had tomato, mozzarella , salume, prosciutto, bread, pasta, wine and limoncello! The excursion and lunch cost 20€!! After a wonderful meal at the farm we went back to the villa for a bit of tv, and - a massage! Then we had our last meal at da Fillippo
