I slept till noon! Joey was up early and chatting with Art, and Lillie was packing. They wanted to head back to Rome today, but Joey and I are staying for another two nights in Sorrento to see more of the small city life. I had some leftover linguini clams for breakfast, and Joey and I bade goodbye to Lillie and Art - and then we got a ride down to Sorrento and wandered. There are some lovely shops here and then we stop for a late lunch at the mozzarella bar of the inn bufalito. Of course I had a caprese salad and Joey had spaghetti and meatballs! A lovely meal in a quiet, shaded corner of Sorrento. We walked again, looking at clothes, shoes, glass frames, leather, wine, all my favorites! As we started to tire out, I asked Joey what he wanted to do, and as usual, he says "whatever you want". So I said let's stop for a drink.. It's 5:30! And we did. And where we stopped was right on the corner where Tom and Serene, Joey and I did a little shopping two years ago when we were here in Sorrento on a tour. After a lovely afternoon drink, we took a taxi back to our villa, and stayed in all evening. After the food we had been eating, we decided to forego dinner. We indulged in a bit of domesticity – laundry and TV....
