FINALLY..
Honestly speaking, what a f*cking trip. First 4 hours by car to Denmark, from Denmark by plane to London...then to Hong Kong (took 11 hours... I repeat 11 HOURS) and then 8 hours to our final destination, Sydney. To say that I am tired would be an understatement cuz I am so beyond tired right now. Im more dead then alive. I can hardly keep my eyes open. Just a few hours left, then it's time for bed.
So our current accommodation is at Sydney Central YHA (check their homepage at http://www.yha.com.au/hostels/details.cfm?hostelid=29) It's a great hostel, with a sauna and a pool on the 9th floor. Really cool place, but like most cool places it costs money. But I can really recommend it!
For walking around like two zombies, Ida and I have managed to do alot of things today. We landed sometime around 7 AM, got picked up and went straight to the hostel. But the check in wasn't untill 12 a'clock so in the mean time we went for a little walk in Sydney. It's easy to get lost here I tell you, but we are a great team me and Ida so we didn't even get close to getting lost. Maybe cuz we didn't dare to walk to far away from the hostel Haha.
Checking in was a bit of an disapointment cuz work and travel company didn't book the same room for me and Ida so we're not sleeping together in the same room. Not the end of the world surely but it's a bit boring. I asked if they could change it but it wasn't possible at the time. So Im sharing a room with 3 other girls (only met one of them and she didn't seem to scary so if Im luckly I'll live through the night) and so does Ida.
After wandering around in Sydney looking for a supermarket we ended up in Paddy's market. And it was huuuuge. They sold everything there, from Buddha statues to wigs to fruit and vegetables. If I hadn't been so tired I would have appreciate it alot more but I enjoyed it anyway. Hopefully we'll come back another day to buy some gifts for friends and family.
And I know you're wondering what I have been eating today mother, Well, breakfast at McDonalds was terrible and the spicy noodles I bought at the supermarket wasn't much better. I miss your food already. I am so spoiled.
Yasser, Yasser, Yasser. Just know you are missed and loved. I think of you always.
