Hi all, so i realised i havent updfated this for a while. Theres alot that has been going in the last few weeks.

Ive just got back from a tramping trip at Milford sound. It was a four day walk whilst staying in huts everynight. there was no hot water, showers or electricity! It rained all of the third day which was wet but amazing as it brought all the waterfalls out. It was beautiful. I went with another friend and we met lots of others alopng the way. i think there was 40 of us on the track at the same time, we would all leave at different times in the morning then meet at the next hut that evening. One of the girls i met on the track has been in queenstown for the last couple days so weve been partying for the last two nights, she heads back to dunedin today to start working! there were people of all ages on the track including 4 70 year olds. they were awesome...hiking 35miles in 4 days with all your gear. we were all in awe of them.
i got back to queenstown in desperate need of a hot shower and to finally get rid of the backpack that had been attached to my back for the previous four days. we attempted to go out that night, but ended up in starbucks catching up with all the goings on that we had missed out on.

before milford i went to a travel agent to change all my flights and dates. i now have a new itinerary which involves going via india. a couple of my friends are travelling there and invited me to join them. at first i didnt think it was possible but after much nthinking...we found a way. i now leave new zealand on the 26th may and fly to oz for a couple weeks. my flight to india (mumbai) leaves on the 10th june and im there for 3 weeks. i fly out of delhi to bangkok on the 30june and travel south to singapore over a month. i then fly back to mumbai to catch my flight home on the 28th july. its all really exciting especially as one of the girls im going with has already left and the guy who is also going lkeaves next week. we still have a fair bit of organising to do.

there are lots of people leaving queenstown...but also lots arriving. 5 of my friends are aleaving in the space of a couple weeks. my american friend, Maddy left last week. a car load of us went to the airport to wave her off. it was very sad and i think we all cried and made a scene at security. it was a lovely send off and weve all been missing her since. the next to leave is the girl i did the Milford track with and two others. its going to be fun meeting some of the new people that start at starbucks. im now a fully fledged supervisor who is helpiung to train some of the staff...and some of them ask me what to do! its a really fun role...when its goes according to plan. a new english guy has just started working there who turns out im also living with. hes got a really english accent and really reminds me of home! he went to plymouth uni aswell!

my new hou8se is really good. its a nice chilled house and even though there are 10 of us here i rarely see everyone, and its hardly crowded! i had my bike stolen from outside it the other day though which i wasnt too impressed at, but my manager at work was an absolute gem and brought me one back from her home that she rarely uses any more. it was the best present ever! i can now get to work in 5 minutes again instead of having a 15-20min walk everyday.

the weather is getting colder here, you can tell that the summer season is coming to an end, the schools went back last week and ski passes are coming on sale next week i think! i went paragliding last week up at one of the ski fields (coronet peak) which was absolutely amasong. we had the most perfect day with an amasing view. it wasnt too much of an adrenaline rush but it was so much fun to be doing activities again. i managed to get a free bargain becase of "the people i know" and because i work in starbucks!! i was shocked when he said hje could arrange it for me at no cost...he now gets a free coffee everytime im there!

i think thats just about everything. i dont have many plans for the next few weeks but im sure that will change soon. everything changes pretty quickly out here!
