The Canopy Your!!
We arrived at the canopy tour centre after waking up at 6.00am and a 3 hour bus ride. We were suited and booted in harnesses and helmets and really heavy metal thngs that wieghed a tonne. We then walked to the start of the canopy tourn and started one by one zipping really fast along zip wires through the canopy. It was a lot faster and more exhilerating than the one in Australia as we went really fast and the wires were much longer 70-750 m long! Thre were about 15 wires all different lengths and throughout the duration of the tour you could hear from Leslie screaming and laughing and Rory shouting out Tazan noises. There were wobbly swing bridges and all the guides were really funny and friendly although we weren{t exactly sure what they were saying most the time! We came to the Tarzan swing, i went first, the guy held out the rope but didn{t clip me on and said 1..2..3..jump...i went white. His face was very serious. Everyone looked at him dubiously. I obviously didn't jump! " minutes later i am swinging through the trees back and forth being pushed by 5 men!It was so much fun! After the main canopy tour wen went to the towers and raced along zip wires 80m in the air and up to 750 m long, the view was spectacular and the racing hilarious as i raced against Leslie and always won by miles...we also never made it to the end because we were too light and got stuck so the guides had to come and pull us along...rather embarrasing!Afterwards we had lunch and then drove back to San Pedro. We were so lucky with the weather although it was very humid it didn't rain!
