I am in my lunch break! I get free internet at the school which is amazing! Yesterday i had to get up at 6.30 am to catch the bus to school. I went to bed at 4pm and woke up at 2am....jet lag!The neighbourhood i am staying in is really nice as is the house and the family (apart from the dos outside my window that barks at 5am! For breakfast we had bread and jam and black tea...i really should try some coffee as it is meant to be incredible but i always get the shakes so i am holding back for now! Lorna, the youngest daughter who has an adorable one year old son caled jules took us to school and showed us how to use the bus which costs all of 10 pence! She also picked us up after school. We get the Sanabilla bus and get off when we see the dominos sign! The ride takes half and hour and is very busy!!!We arrived at the school on the first day and immediately had an oral test which involved them showing us the school and asking us some questions and pointing to some pictures...i couldn stop lauging! I could not remember what a bed was eek! Somehow i ended up in the top class in my group with one other German guy called Wolf! Our teacher is called Abraham and he is very funny and keeps commenting that my hair is more than blond! His friends say he is blond. He has brown hair. We have 5 hours of spanish lessons a day with a break for lunch. Lunch costs me 1 pound 23 pence and involves a chiken burrito and salad, cheese etc...not bad! After our lesson we had an orientation class and then got picked up by our families and went home by bus. The father picked us up, he speaks absolutely no English yet i stil managed to hold a conversation. I understand everything people say i just am not so confident when it comes to speaking! We waited for the bus for ages and i kept translating what Gerado, the father, waws saying for Harpreet. HArpreet is a guy on my course who is staiying with the samefamily as me. He is 27 and very nice but can speak any spanish which is very amusing! In the evening we had supper and watched some tv-english with spanish subtitles! I also played with Lornas son who is now my new best friend and read about some of the possible orphanges and schols we can work at while he draw (very artistic one year old scribbles)all over the booklet i was reading! I had a shower...low pressure = hot water, high pressure= freezong water! The n went to sleep...til 5am when the dog started to bark! x having a wonderful time and luckily spanish is improving!
