Back in Ao Nang, Krabi by 9.30 so more beach time than we thought. It was our last night as a group, technically Sunday is our last night but we'll be spending it on the overnight train so tonight will be the final dinner. A couple didn't come, they weren't missed. Anek took us to a lovely restaurant on the mountain overlooking the ocean and we were able to see the sunset, the best one I've seen yet (and I've seen a few). The food was just as good, the most expensive I've had so far but still only £15 for 2 big courses a cocktail and water. Dessert was free, Anek got a birthday cake for Liv and we embarrassed her by singing a lot. After we went out for a few cocktails in the town and then decided when we were tipsy it would be a good idea to get tattoos, but only henna ones. I wasn't feeling good, worse than usual so didn't have the night out I'd planned and it definitely wasn't as fun as our last night in Vietnam.
I woke at 4am to Leanne being sick, which continued every half an hour for the rest of the night. It turned out Jenny was also sick, so Anek decided they needed to go to the doctors so at 9am we took them to the medical centre which luckily was very close. They took them both in and put them on a drip, we were told to come back after two hours and see if they'd improved but the doctor wasn't sure if they would be well enough to leave for the overnight train at 2pm. I went back to check on her at 11, looking much better but doctor said they needed to stay another couple of hours. I went back at 1 and luckily they were allowed to leave with a big bag of drugs and a bill of almost £300 each. It was a weird little surgery, the doctor had about five nurses who were all very pretty (I think one may have been a ladyboy). I had to interrupt them from their tv show and selfie taking session so they could swap Leanne's drip, there was also a big white fluffy dog that looked like a bear, when we left he was sleeping between their beds.
So back to hotel for a quick pack before leaving in less than an hour, I couldn't think of anything worse than now having to sit on a bus for 3 hours and then a train. I've tried the Americans pepto for the first time today, hoping it will fix me....I'm trying not to moan as the girls feel so much worse than me but I feel rubbish. I've even given Leanne my pillow for the journey, whatever next?! I think it's safe to say we've had the worst 24 hours....hopefully this is all the sickness out of the way for the rest of my trip. Leanne and Jenny just out of hospital, I've had severe cramps and feel sick and Liv the same except she was sick eventually on the bus and then on the platform...to be honest I think a bit of sick only added to the character of this awful station. As soon as we got on the train we all went to bed and I don't think anyone really spoke for the entire journey, but everyone felt much better in the morning, not 100% but better all the same.
